After the dissolution of the partnership with Sampson Hamilton, Samuel Moore continued producing china at St. Mary's Works, Longton.
In 1865 Samuel Moore was joined by his son Bernard Moore and the company was renamed "Moore & Son" - it continued with this name after Samuel's death in 1867. Bernard continued to run the works.In 1870/2 Bernard was joined by his brother Samuel Vincent Moore and they operated the St. Mary's works as "Moore Bros"
