1836 1841 Robinson, Wood & Brownfield

The partners were Noah Robinson, John Wood and William Brownfield. 

Noah Robinson died in September 1837 and was replaced in the partnership by John Robinson (who was probably Noah's father). 

John died sometime after and his widow Dorothea succeeded him. 

The partnership was dissolved on the 12th March 1841

1841 1850 Wood & Brownfield Robinson died in 1837 and the other two partners continued with John Robinson's widow as surviving partner. The partnership was officially established as Wood & Brownfield in March 1841.
1850 1871 William Brownfield Wood retied in 1850 and W Brownfield continued on his own account.
1871 1891 W. Brownfield and Son(s)

In 1871 Brownfield was joined by his son, William Etches Brownfield.

William Brownfield (the founder of the company) died in 1873 - the name Brownfield & Son was continued.

By 1876 there were three brothers in partnership in the business: William Etches Brownfield, Edward Arthur Brownfield and Douglas Harold Brownfield. The name became Brownfield & Sons.

1891 1898 Brownfield's Guild Pottery Society Ltd Following the failure of William Brownfield & Sons a co-operative pottery, the Brownfields Guild Pottery Society, was formed to continue the business. 
The business failed in 1898 and was continued by the liquidators 
1898 1899 Brownfield's Pottery Ltd Later in 1898 the business was in operation as Brownfields Pottery Ltd but his failed in 1899
1900     In 1900 part of the extensive Brownfield works was demolished for housing development, some of the land was acquired by Messrs Myott   by 1902 they had completed a new factory
