What's new on 'The Potteries' Web Site

Hello - welcome to this web site on the local history of Stoke-on-Trent and especially details of the multitude of pottery companies.

The site was started around 1998, and this “What’s New?” section was originally a useful way to keep track of significant additions made between 2000 and 2016.

The original "What's New?' section gradually became less necessary - especially as the search facilities and index system improved and so this section was no longer updated.

However in August 2025 an update page was started which tracks updated and added pages.
